i love having an "off season" for weddings... it gives me the opportunity to photograph kids!

to chew or not to chew?

i'll be posting some wedding tips here and there based on my experiences as a wedding photographer :) enjoy!

! Try not to chew gum on your wedding day! If you are one of those gum chewers, try to keep it to a minimum... getting caught in the act of chewing on photo (& video) is not too flattering...

as a photographer, i always try to keep an eye out for this... getting caught with a photo mid-chew is not too good... much more a video of you chewing the whole time... imagine in slow-mo (oh no!!)

'til next year...

frustrated, disappointed, and sad... i've been feeling all of the above for the past 24 hours since the reality of it all hit me hard... needless to say, i'm proud to be part of the Chicago Bears experience this past season... i'm no football critic but i know that what was brought to the game totally did not meet expectations for a lot of us... the term "wait 'til next year" doesn't settle too good with me either due to the fact that i know how difficult it is to make it to the superbowl... but i guess that's the only thing that will keep me hoping for the best of what's to come... so i guess, 'till next year... thank you for an awesome season, chicago bears, and i'm proud of what you've accomplished this past season...

In the spirit of Super Bowl weekend, Andy & I set out to capture the Bears Fever here in Chicago... it was bitter cold, and I should have worn my gloves, but needles to say, we had so much fun driving around downtown capturing these images...

(notice the flags being blown straight out!)

this ice sculpture was by the ABC headquarters...

the famous lions in front of the Art Museum... it was neat to see the BP building peak around the corner of the museum...

Grrrr!!




... it was nice to see a lot more buildings show support for our Bears... back in '85, I think the only building that had lights on was the Prudential building...
